NSW: NRMA staves off subpoena to hand over election material

SYDNEY, Jan 16 AAP - The NRMA has managed to temporarily stave off a subpoena forcing
it to hand over information about last year's election of its board of directors and changed
constitution.

NRMA member and 2003 candidate Tim Shelton is taking legal action against the motoring
group to overturn a resolution to change the organisation's constitution.

The resolution was passed last year using proxy votes.

He is also questioning the validity of the 2003 board of directors election.
