Kahn turns down Schalke post

Former Germany and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has decided against taking the vacant general manager's job at Schalke.

Kahn held talks with officials at the club about replacing Andreas Mueller, who was dismissed earlier this month.
