Brock back in football.

KEVIN Brock has his first job since leaving Banbury United - as Woodford United's assistant manager.

Woodford boss Phil Mason has brought in Brock, who quit as manager of the Puritans in the close season after eight years, to help him out at a difficult time for the club.

The Southern League Division One Midlands side has had three straight defeats and a number of players have left because of a cut in the budget.

Brock comes in following the departure of former Woodford assistant manager James Foote, who left last month because of work commitments.
